I pop in every so often for a cuppa tea and a scone, its away from the hustle and bustle of the chain brand coffee shop the tiled café is a must see, beautiful and the art collection can be viewed time and time again, with different exhbibtions every so often and its free

Great city art gallery. Leeds has been an important center for art in the 20th century and their art gallery stands up to the task. It's not very big, but the collection is thoughtful and focuses on local talent or artists who traveled to Leeds. They also have temporary exhibitions--it was a contemporary award exhibition when I was there.

Along with Leeds City Museum, it is added to the list for visiting when people are around Leeds~~passing awesome time with family~~and don't forget your camera~~as you will get interesting texture of arts!

Always worth a quick visit for any appreciator of modern or fine art. The gallery does feel a bit tired in places & could be slightly larger, however the best parts are still very impressive! especially the Tiled Hall Cafe & Blue Room!

Spent a couple of hours with pupils going round the galleries, certainly opened their eyes, and there are some great works. Really something for every taste. Coofee shop meals expensive but surroundings almost worth it.

Staff were really well informed, & enthusiastic about the history, & restoration of the building. Nothing to dislike

First the good news. The place itself is beautiful. I had soup (nice but no roll - which is a first for me). I also had salad, which I was told was vegetarian but actually had chorizo in.
