Dissapointed with techniquest because it doesn't seem to have changed much over the years. I have brought my kids a few times hoping for change, but it's all the same and we are in and out within an hour. Quite expensive too.

Grandma's revenge... I took 11yo girl and 5yo boy on Saturday - the family are all huge SF and Fantasy fans, and watch the Big Bang Theory all the time, so it seemed like a reasonable choice for a day out. 11yo was slightly dubious, but she went for it anyway. lots of different things for kids to interact with and keep them entertained for hours what more would you want? stayed there aprox. 2hrs and still could go back again.
Really gets the information over to the children in a way they understand and remember. My son really enjoys it here, and always learns loads. They cover all the science subjects and have lots of hands on exhibits to try out.
This place fascinates me but its a shame theve got rid of loads of the stuff they had there like the wall of mirrors. Still a really cool educational place though
A brilliant way to spend a few hours - I am sure I learnt as much as my son did! Very helpful staff, really well laid out with plenty to do. Thoroughly recommend.

He really enjoyed it and was upset when I said we had to leave...
