Got back to Cardiff City Center and decided to walk to Llandaff Cathedral thinking it was only 1.5 miles away. Over an hour later, we finally arrived at 6:00pm when they had started a service. Well worth a visit, catch the bus to Llandaff from central station get a day pass. Llandaff has some little shops and tea room and resturants and pubs. More

Llandaff is a beautifully kept small village and the Cathedral itself is appoached from above via a path with some steps. I was welcomed by a local volunteer but allowed freedom to view the building at my own pace. Interesting blend of architectural styles. Peaceful and uncluttered. Wish I could have spend more time here. More
