Picked up a flyer for this brand of black taxi tours and saw that they received a tripadvisor certificate of excellence and picked it over the others. The taxi drivers, from my understanding of ours, are all local and were involved in the troubles at some point or another, and many had been to jail for it--so you get the... More

Gerard, our guide was amazing, he brought the complex and tragic history of Ireland's "Troubles" to life. Through Belfast sites such as the Falls Road, the Shankill, Milltown Cemetery, the Conway Mill Museum, the peace walls and the famous murals he gave us an unbiased and personal account of city's history. I couldn't recommend this enough, great value for money.... More
