Only complaint is that the seats are not the most spacious!! I felt squased in and I am not exactly large! I would like somewhere to sit with a little more arm room!

As a frequent visitor to the Lyric of the years I was really looking forward to seeing the new building. Although they have now better bar and toilet facilities they have lost the old atmosphere. I wa also shocked to find that when i went to the toilet half way through the first half I wasnt allowed back in. This... More

Throughout the troubles, there were 2 theatres that kept on running and having wonderful plays--the Old Museum Arts Theater and the Lyric. It is a lovely building, and usually has something on that is worth seeing. Go.

First time in the rebuilt icon that is the Lyric. Now I understand why it's fans and followers are almost devout in their love for the place. The builing itself has won several accolades, not to mention the many bestowed upon it's charming and helpful staff. My one gripe was simple. Four staff in the day lounge, and about three... More

The Lyric Theatre is not the most conveniently placed theatre or with the most accessible parking. There is not as good an atmosphere for pre and post theatre drinks as places such as the Grand Opera House or The Mac, or even The Waterfront. It is more that post-and pre drinks seem to merge into the mass of people that... More

First time back in about 25 years and wow!! Lovely views from bar area , wood in theatre cosy and contemporary. Seating comfy though lack of handrails little awkward. Thoroughly enjoyed outing so will keep eye on what's on and definitely be back.

Been several times in the last couple fo months to drama, comedy and for brunch on a Sunday. Refurbished Lyric is a pleasure every time. Calibre ranges from international stars to stand up comedy to great local productions. If you park around Stranmillis somewhere, there are lots of places to have a pre-theatre meal and the bar area at the... More

A beautiful building that stands out as one of Belfast's great on the banks of the Lagan. I've been many times to the Lyric. I love how many local plays it supports and thoroughly enough the new building. Staff are always very helpful and facilities are great.
