Have been to The Cook School Scotland a number of times now even booked myself and my friends for my birthday. It's a great day out. The facilities are top class and the staff are so helpful. It's great for those who think themselves a bit of a Masterchef as well as those (like myself) who aren't very good at... More

We got vouchers for Christmas and booked a fork out for less course. The menu was pizza and Portuguese tarts. We started with coffee at 2pm. The chef Michael was fantastic, put all 6 of us at our ease. The work stations were very well equiped. We learned a lot of tips and the pizza dough was fantastic and so... More

I participated in the Italian day. Overall I had a great day, the chef was excellent but I just came away somewhat disappointed in a few areas. The experience seemed to be aimed at showing novices how to do basic 'cooking' not at showing you an Italian skill. For example we made an orecchiette pasta dish but the pasta came... More

My friends and I booked a 'demo and dine' lunch at the Good Food Show last October. We enjoyed that so much we bought a special offer voucher to come along for a day course. We had trouble deciding which course to take as we all cook, really well, and were afraid that we may not learn much. How wrong... More

My daughter and I visited the Cook School first for the daytime course. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Some people came on their own and some in groups, but everyone was made to feel included. Great fun to be had cooking our own food, and also the chef cooked other items which we all got a taste of. I... More

I was given vouchers for Christmas and decided to use them on my birthday. I went to the game cookery day and had a fabulous time!!! I was greeted and shown where to put my coat and bag then it was off for coffee and baked goods in the dining room. Everything was very top of the range inclusing the... More

very good place to learn, you can buy vouchers for presents to go to cook school, also has a good wee shop that sells different goods than the supermarket, very busy at christmas as you can order your turkey, duck or whatever you like, black pudding is amazing and beetroot chutney well worth a wee visit.

We went for the demo and dine. First time at a cook school but certainly not disappointed. Staff were great, venue was well furnished and the meal was wonderful. Brings out the best of other participants and a great way to share ideas and experiences. Look forward to my next visit.
