I dont know how many times I had been to the transport museum in the old location. It was a great place to go with kids and adults of all ages, any visitors to our house, and off we would go. Of course it is Free and is still worth a visit, but I really think it was a lot... More

This is a brand new building and it's a shame they didn't allow more floor space for the exhibits because it can get crowded at times due to its popularity. And the cars they have on exhibition on "shelves" going up the wall aren't accessible to have a good look at which is a shame. Having said that it's still... More

considering how much they spent on building the place I dont think its very well laid out ..the fact that the vehicles are placed high up on a wall is seriously irritating...in my opinion the old transport museum was far better and this has been a seriously missed opportunity...far better to park on the other side of the river and... Only one pound for the car park and free entry. Could not be better. Excellent selection of exhibits and it took me down memory lane. I would recommend this museum to anyone. A great day out. More

Having visited the previous Glasgow Museum of Transport at Kelvin Hall and its predecessor at Coplawhill, I was really looking forward to visiting Riverside as expecting that the curatorial and conservation skills shown at the previous museums would be continued here. Riverside is an impressive looking building externally, but once inside you think "Oh dear, what went wrong?" There was... More

Great museum, well laid out and a great trip back in time. Some fantastic examples of old vehicles. Nice cafe and reasonably priced. More

Great museum with plenty to see and do but what's happened to the Scottish history of air transport ? There's absolutely no aircraft included and no section showing the long history of airline route development over the last 80 odd years. Very little mention of Renfrew, Glasgow or Prestwick airports. No aircraft models. No history of the 30+ airlines who... More

Great museum with a wide range of artefacts. My partner and I (late 20s) enjoyed it but clearly lots for kids to interact with too. Small car park to encourage people to walk and take public transport. (Can be big delays getting out of car park). Easy walk from Westend but walkway to get there still needs work -still a... More
