Famous and important battle in 1745, which is all explained in an excellent and very new visitor center. Gift shop and restaurant were outstanding as well. Also did a guided tour of the battlefield itself, but there is not much to see....only knowing that you are standing where it took place is enough for many.

A stop at Culloden Battlefield, site of the last war in Great Britian is a must for anyone interested in history.
