The Scottish Wildlife Trust organised a day visit to Aigas Field Centre. The house and Beaver-stoked loch are the mos memorable aspects of the day, and the food, served by Lady Lister-Kaye was outstanding. School kids visit regularly, and the grounds are open a few times a year as part of the Scotland Gardens Scheme. Take any opportunity to go... More

I spent a week at Aigas, taking a wonderful photography course. I was completely overwhelmed by the Lister-Kaye's incredible hospitality (Lady Lister-Kaye's cooking is legendary), the glorious location, and the knowledge and enthusiasm of the Aigas rangers. I was solo on this trip and somewhat nervous I'd be the only single. Indeed, I was not and I had the time... More

We just spent the most delightful week at the Aigas Field Centre. Our time there was both relaxing and jammed packed. Sir John and Lady Lucy did in indeed make us feel like guests in their home. The guides were informative with a lively interest in everything we questioned them on. The food was great. The cabins were warm and... More

The AIGAS Experience is not to be missed. It is an unforgettable week of Wildlife Sightings and learning about the many and varied aspects of conservation and the AIGAS' involvement at this most pressing and important time. The holiday itself could not have been better. The Lister-Kaye family, the Rangers and all the Staff went out of their way to... More

I have had three exceptional experiences with Aigas. First was a memorable week-long guided tour of the Western Isles. The next was an informal stay at Aigas Field Centre with a friend. Last summer I took my granddaughter for the week long "Nature's Child" and it was a perfect week with such thoughtful care and attention from everyone. Being at... More

It's taken me a while to get round to writing this, as I wasn't reviewing on Tripadvisor in 2010 when we did the Nature's Child week at Aigas. Three years later, I can still say it was the best holiday we've had. Our boys were 9 and 7 at the time and they still talk about that week. The highlight... More

A great weekend with the Aigas Team - Team working Par excellence - hectic and amazing. So many highlights - Golden Eagles, Ravens, Beaver and Pine Marten, Johnny's Saturday night talk and Lady Lucy's food and hospitality. If you get chance to experience Aigas - do not hesitate to go.

We went on a wildlife week in June 2013. Everything - wildlife, staff, rangers, food, accommodation was top notch. The only bad thing? We had to leave at the end of the week!

This was my second visit and I certainly hope to come again. Accommodation and catering are excellent and the centre is in a splendid setting within its own grounds, which encompass woodland, moorland and a small loch, the home of beavers. The daily field trips were well planned to cover a variety of Highland habitats and to encounter many species... More
