A beautiful serene and peaceful place, worth a visit, to pray, light a candle, or simply... More
Well kept historic and religious site. A wonderful sense of peace amidst the flowing waters. Plenty to explore and ponder at this site.
A beautiful tranquil place to visit. The peace is palpable when you enter the holy well, a place of secret worship in the penal times , the history of the place is fascinating, people from all walks of life have been drawn to the holy well for centuries, a deeply comforting and spiritual place loved by locals and visitors alike.
It's lovely and relaxing for a little well but if they want people to see it clearly without even missing it, cut down the dry trees and replace them with signs of where everything is.

This is a beautiful spot! I think the most beautiful in Sligo. Really magical at night when it's candle lit! Historical as well as mass used to be said here when Catholics had to hide that they went to mass! Tranquil spot
This free attraction, if thats what you want to call it is visited by large and small tour busses as well as locals on lunchbreak. It is a small area off the main road where there is a holy well. There are also many religious statues there to light candles by, a small bridge and a babbling brooke. It is... More
Myself being a non catholic.........this was something different for me to see. The little grove of trees was a nice setting. It was interesting to learn about Anne...... The Saviours Grandmother! The garden was well kept and seemed a very popular place to visit by the locals.
