Manchester's Albert Square is a lovely space in front of the magnificent Town Hall. It's the central venue for Manchester's famous Christmas markets and other special events; perfect for taking time out - when the weather allows.

Absolutely great christmas market! The square is beautiful anytime of year though. Stop for a visit, nice spot in manchester city.
Beautiful square this Albert Square, I really appreciated the Tawn Hall a Gothic style building artistically fascinating. The place is very crowded and I have to admit that I liked the Albert Memorial. Worth a visit!
Very beautiful and impressive as you view the Town Hall, with cobblestone decor on the ground. The statues to Manchester's historic past, fountain all present. The Lincoln Statue very close by. Starbucks across the street. Very peaceful-except when Market days set up! Loved this square.
if you like Victorian Gothic buildings then the Town Hall is a must-see.. watty Great from the outside but also go upstairs and see the old vaulted hall

Every time I have visited Manchester there is usually some event taking place in the square. From food and wine tasting events to street entertainers. Or just sit and take in the hustle and bustle of life in the city. Overlooked by the magnificent town hall building.
