Well - you hear about The Thinker and The Gates of Hell, and you see photos of them and then you get to SEE them. And you can't find the words to adequately describe how you feel when you are standing in front of them in the amazing city of Paris. Go to this museum. It is a treasure. Go... More

The Rodin Museum is a must see. A real delight because you see a major body of work plus the Biron Hotel, where he lived. The huge garden is the setting for some of the work and an outdoor cafe. Some work being done but not a problem. Museum pass valid. Just east of Napoleon's tomb.

Lovely gardens and beautiful setting, uncrowded and peaceful. Managed to get in the tour of the house quickly before closing, would have liked to have spent more time there.

I really enjoyed this museum. A good majority of it is outside in the garden, and as such there is not a lot of option if it is really rainy. When it did rain, everyone headed inside the small buildings, which were way too small for the amount of people there. Still outside is a best viewing place for the... More

If you live in a big city or travel a lot you have seen many Rodin's. So, if you have time, see this pleasant museum. If you are short of time, skip it.

We were on the L'Open hop on hop off bus and walked to the museum at their closest stop. We used our Paris Museum pass to enter. There is an exhibition of plaster models in the entrance area. Head outside to see "The Thinker" and other familiar pieces. The gardens are beautiful and many of Rodin's works are along the... More

Gardens are wonderful with lots of scuptures, and beautiful spots to sit and relax. Museum is small but has some beautiful pieces. Upstairs display is only available by stairs.

The gardens alone are worth it. Take a book and relax at the norm. Stroll and fund the hidden sculptures. See how the Thinker relates to the Gates of Hell. There is a lot here to see if you take your time.

We would not have even thought of going unless we had the museum pass. But after visiting realized this was one of my favorites. It was so much more that I expected, especially the garden and vies of the Effiel tower in some places made some great photo ops.

Unless you're really into Rodin, this could be one to miss. The only thing that really transported me was the gates of hell, and you can see some of that stuff in the Musee d'Orsay. The building itself is lovely, and it does have a nice garden.
