It was fun to see what attracted the Parisi tribe to the area so long ago. The book sellers along the bank we also the best place to buy souvenirs and artwork.

Boats are near the Eiffel Tower . The trip takes around 1 hour and costs around 13 euros . You see most of the monuments while cruising down the Seine river .
I would advise you to not take the cruises because they are very boisterious and not romantic as one might imagine. It would be better to walk along the river at night particulrly if you are facing the Eiffel Tower and see when it sparkles.

just go for stroll along the river seine. I stayed for 15 days in a hotel next to the eiffet tower facing seine river. And I didnot miss single day going for walk along river seine.
