This is a large shopping center near the Chatelet des Halles metro station. The shopping center is underground, and not particularly attractive in appearance - it is quite concrete and industrial-looking. Fairly grungy place. Lots of homeless people in the area. However there are some nice modern retailers in the shopping center, good deals and two movie theaters. Outside around the cafes, there are far far too many smokers. Cigarette butts smell and smoke making the air quality very bad.

I LOVE to shop and Paris was no exception! I found the prices pretty reasonable here. I bought lots. I really like the store New Look. Great Mall and great location!

Under construction from the top up. The above ground gardens and entrances are undergoing a multi year renovation and are a mess of construction at this time. The underground mall is a WTF were they thinking. This is such a travesty within a vibrant and diverse neighborhood where the people are great. One of our favorite non tourist areas but... More

This shopping center, located in Chatelet, is not so amazing to the point of going there on purpose. But, if are hanging out in the neighbourhood, it's nice for lunch break and window shopping. There's actually a great shop there, «Maisons du Mounde». Check it, is really beautiful and they also offer the catalogue, that is quite interesting.
