i visited on my own with some french friends who made everything easy, so I enjoyed this review of the past in a city which I liked a lot and who maintains very much the spirit of the old France and of the South .... Don´t miss it!

Beutiful paintings cover the ceiling and walls of this remaining part of a 17th century Carmelite convent. Highly recommended.
This chapel is small and covered floor to ceiling with religious paintings that are well preserved (though I think they're only 18th or 19th century). However, they set up modern art exhibits in the chapel that are really not my thing (videos of strange images with gloomy music). It's not particularly out of the way if you're coming from St-Sernin...

Always bustling, always diffierent with markets and events taking place on different days. The modern frescoes are interesting.
It does not seem like a popular tourist spot in Toulouse, but I highly recommend it! The paintings and trompe-l'œil -decorations cannot be missed.
