Looked like a great place to toboggan however when at the top there were no signs nor snow path to the area known for tobogganing. It would have meant walking where the skiers go. A bit disappointing and spent 26euros just to find that out! Staff not helpful at all. Won't go again which is too bad as we are...

This was actually quite a little gem! Dosnt look like much but when you get up on the mountain its full of great ski runs. Mainly orange and a few blues and blacks.
You can get to a whole other mountain if you sneak down the far side.
Great little pubs/restaurants.
Nice slopes.
Very good spot for beginners to learn...

I last skied Hausberg in 1988, but it was very much as I remember. There are a lot of different runs, some easy some hard, and you can easily spend all day on the mountain without duplicating runs. The top of the Alpspitze is beautiful, though a bit nerve racking if you are not a good skier! (or like me,...

We went downhill skiing twice in December. The slopes were not all in use and they were not in their best shape cause it was too warm. Higher up it was really nice. Nice restaurants and the rental services work smoothly.
I ski here a lot so I don't mean 3* as a negative. It's average. But the "average" in the Alps is higher than most places. Hausberg is relatively inexpensive, very convenient to GaPa (I can walk to the lift). It get very crowded on weekends and during German holidays. The bowl is pretty nice and the Horn is challenging,...

Disorganised queues everywhere, people fighting and pushing that could very easily be avoided with simple queing discipline.a pain to go to the mountain. The Garmish ski schule is to be avoided by all means. Teachers start counting time before the lift. As it takes more then an hour fighting to get to the top you are at the same time...

Great place to ski and beautiful, but only 1 blue slope. If you are new or not great at skiing, it could be a challenge. Also, if the weather goes downhill, they will close the gondola down and then you are stuck skiing down...which is what happened to me.
Very close to town. Not the best kids ski school. Very over prices. Great food at the base.
The restaurant kiosk-beware, if you order leitungswasser it is supposed to be free because this is what the name is for Tap water. So, I ordered a coffee and a leitungswasser, I got the bill, the water was 3.20 euro and the coffee was 3.20 euro. I asked the lady why are you charging 3.20 for leitungswasser, she said we...
