I cant add much..... except dont miss this museum and go early in the day or Thursday night when admission is free. Breathtaking.
A really must see museum even if you only have a few hours in Berlin. They have the Pergamon Altar, the Ishtar Gate from Babylon and more! But bring a cup, there is no cafe or even a water fountain. They do have WCs.
You could easily spend 2-3 hours in this museum. Admission is 12 Euro for adults and it includes the use of audio guide which is very useful (if you aren't in the mood to read all the plaques). Simply amazing. The most incredible and interesting museum I've been in. One you're sure not to forget any time soon.
Wonderful wonderful place! The exhibits are fantastic and very impressive especially those from Babylon. This is a MUST when in Berlin and I now understand why it is one of the top tourist attractions here. Simply magical!

This was in my guide book's top 10 things to do and it was wonderful. Huge exhibits from Babylon, the ishtar gate was especially impressive.
This is one of the world's great museums which will just blow you away. The 2 highlights are the Ishtar Gate from Babylon and the great altar from Pergamon, both fully reconstructed in vast spaces. Don't miss it.
