Visiting this historical building that survived the war with interesting. Able to see the whole town from the very top using a kinda different elevator.

Great way to learn the history of Hannover while also gleaning current wonderful views of the city - the elevator is worth paying for the quick jaunt to the top

While the building is impressive outside and in, the 4 historical diagrams of the city as it existed at various points is also worth studying. Of course it helps you appreciate the destruction of WWII, but its also interesting to see how the city developed over several hundred years.

This building is awsome. Very nice arquitecture. 4 models inside the building that show the city as it was in 1689, 1933, 1945 and today. Very interesting. I attended an event here and was amazed at how beautiful this building was. Great pre-War & post-War maps of Hanover spanning 100 years. Worth a quick peak.

Beautiful building and interesting exibit in the lobby that shows Hannover before and after WW2. But going to the top of building is a must. You can really see the city from there and the elevator is an experience in of it self.

The City Hall (Rathaus) was almost totally destroyed by the bombing during WW2, as was nearly all of Hannover.
