This ancient moorish fort is a terrific place to visit and well worth the price of admission, with intact walls to traverse, providing terrific views over the Malaga harbour and city itself. Shouldn't be missed, but allow a couple of hours at least.

In Malaga centre this ruin of a palatial fortress is well worth the small entrance fee of under 3 euros. You can easily spend a hour or two wandering round the ruins, the gardens and seeing some of the historical artefacts relevant to the Moorish building. A nice break from the busy streets of the centre.

In my view, the Malaga Alcazaba rivals the Alhambra in Granada as a fortress. However, it does not have all the beautiful attributes the the Alhambra does. Instead it has a wealth of reused Roman artifacts to enhance the architecture. Well worth the price of admission.

I am completely in love with the Alcazba. With it's gently trilly fountains and lush green spaces it's a delightful step back from the hustle of Malaga's streets. Nice steady walk with lovely views and interesting history. Allow yourself at least 2 hours to really take it all in and buy the combined ticket for here and the castle.

Spectacular and well maintained monument of Malaga. You may easilly spend a couple of hours here, dreaming yourself back 800 years in time Definitely worth a visit !

It was very cheap to go in and the views were awesome. It's a bit of a climb to the top but well worth it.

It was a real pleasure to walk around this monument to moorish architecture. The restored Alcazaba gives a real feel as to what it would have been like 1000 years ago with its twisting paths up the hill and lovely little water features.
