if you want to spend your time in a spanish toytown you will love this - yes there are some lovely villas but its more of a ghetto than a resort: would have hated to stay here. the centre is tiny and everything in the shops and restaurants is more expensive - hardly surprising with a captive audience. the beach... Last year we went to Menorca for the first time, and rented a villa in Binibeca. We chose the town because it was touted as a traditional-style fishing village, and as we were going with my parents and our small daughter, we didn;t need or want a lively place. But Binibeca is a terrible place to stay! We were amazed... More

Bininbeca offers a perfect tranquil setting offering a gorgeous beach turquoise ocean and fabulous climate. Menorca generally is quiet and this area is typical there are many local resturants and bars and a car is not really needed as the amenities are so convienient

Try to avoid the Bini Inn it is not that good and over priced. there are better restaurants nearby in Cala Toret such as Pedros , although they can be a bit pricey the food is usually good. Dont miss El faro at Cala Toret which is excellent

Worth a visit. Not much going on but an intriguing village with excellent views & photo opportunities.

There was a train that ran from my hotel to Binibeca. I am really glad I visited this beautiful village with its very narrow streets. All winding around like a maze.a must "seeing is believing"

We spent a pleasant few hours in the village and enjoyed the ambience. We had a very nice fresh fish lunch at the little fishermen restaurant.

The actual Vell is very pretty and built to represent an old Spanish fishing village. It is however all very touristy and the beach gets very crammed. The beach bar is fun with great views, but drinks are expensive, so be warned.

We stayed just outside this beautiful village in a private villa when we came to Menorca with friends. We ate at a lovely restaurant at the village overlooking the ocean.Apartments can be rented in the village and its a lovely place just to wander round.Although it was only built in the 60s it was built in the old style and...
