This by far was one of the best cooking classes we have ever attended in Barcelona. The experience of going to the market and learning about seafood was very good. The meal was very good and the wine poured freely during the class. We attended the class to learn how to cook authentic seafood paille which we did. it was... More

During our trip to Barcelona last week we scheduled a private class for 4 for instruction in Tapas. Our wives are experienced cooks and the husbands eager line chefs. The experience was extraordinary. Arrangements by e-mail went smoothly and were handled well by Marta. Our chef/instructor was Ignacio, who was not only experienced but clearly enjoyed introducing us to the... More

My husband and I were visiting Barcelona for 8 days or so and found out about Cook and Taste on trip advisor and it had great reviews so we decided to check it out. One of the best nights we had in Barcelona. The class is intimate we had may 10 or so people in the class and we made... More

We signed up for the market tour of La Boqueria and found it to be most informative. We returned to the Cook and Taste with our chef Ignaticio and proceeded to have a wonderful, fun-filled time with our co-cookers from Australia and England. We made Spanish omellettes, Romesco sauce, saled cod confit with asparagus, seafood paella and finished it off... More

One of the best nights that we had in Barcelona, was our coking class at Cook and Taste. Maria showed us how to prepare an authentic paella, along with several other courses. In between we ate and drank and laughed, turning a 2 1/2 hour experience into a 3 1/2 hour party. We were a diverse group of 12, who... More

We had been to Barcelona before so were looking for something different to do this time. We certainly found it in the Foodie Tour! I don't eat seafood so the tour was tailored to avoid seafood. We also walk at a slower pace and were grateful for the extra time taken to get around to all of the places. We... More

My wife, 16 yr old foodie son, and I took the 11:00 class and it was a highlight of our trip to Barcelona. It's less a class than a participatory cooking and eating experience in which everyone pitches in to create a great Catalan meal. Carla was our chef and orchestrated the 10 people present into teams to chop, slice,... More

We enjoyed a super cooking class at Cook & Taste which is located in a narrow road just behind the cathedral. They can acommodate groups up to 24 persons and two cooks was showing us how to prepare a Paella Valencian Style along with a Romesco Sauce and a Red Bell Pepper Soup flavoured with toasted saffron and cod. The... More

Wow what an amazing experience! Maria took us to the market and she purchased food that we all then cooked! Loved by my wife & myself but even more importantly out teenage daughters loved the cooking process and the food! Wow. One of our best memories of our trip to Barcelona!

This cooking class was absolutely the highlight of our trip to Barcelona. As backpackers it was definitely our biggest expense, but we agreed afterwards it was worth every penny. Ignacio (our chef) was amazing, helpful, funny and informative. We didn't go on the Boqueira tour as we had already explored it ourselves, but those who did seemed to really enjoy... More
