Lots of others have raved about this wonderful day-trip outing. We agree! It was great fun, we learned a lot, met many nice folks, ate too much, and enjoyed Alessandro's style, presentations and company. A bit pricey, but we'd heartily recommend it to others. More

Alessandro was an excellent guide - full of passion for food and good ingredients. We ended our trip with a "light lunch" where our plates never had a chance to be empty and also our wine glasses were never dry.We had to roll out of this quaint little trattoria in Modena! Alessandro went beyond his duty and made a couple of... More

Alessandro is a real character, great energy and a passion for explaining everything about how great Parmigiana/Romano, Prosciutto Ham and Balsamic Vinegars are made. You will forever have a new appreciation and, unfortunately, won't want the substitutes you were happy with before! More

Italian Days Food Experience is indeed about experiencing just three of Italy's many beautiful foods. I'm sure that you can visit cheese makers, acetaias and prosciutto makers on your own, but you will miss the passionate, enthusiastic, funny and educational commentary provided by Alessandro, the owner of the food tour company. I believe that Alessandro is a serious foodie who... More

Fantastic day out - well worth the money. Other reviews say it all. One tip - do not book an evening meal for the day you go on the trip. You get so much food that we didn't eat another thing for 18 hours! It is best not to plan anything for the rest of the day - apart from... More

Like some other reviewers my husband and I hesitated before booking this tour, firstly beacuse we don't "do" tours, and secondly beacuse of the price. Yes it is expensive but it is an experience you are unlikely to get anywhere else as a big part of it is Allesandro himself. His passion and knowledge of the production of DPO produced... More

Like some of the other reviewers, we had hesitated before booking the tour with Alessandro because of the high cost, but the day exceeded our expectations. The trips to the cheese factory and balsamic vinegar house were enlivened by Alessandro's explanations and anecdotes, the samples were of high quality and lunch was excellent and gut-busting. Yes you could probably do... More

Alesandro is an amazing and enthusiastic host! He picked us up at our hotel at 7 a.m., drove us out into the hills of Tuscany to view the actual making of parmesan reggiano cheese (DOP approved), fresh ricotta (absolutely fabulous), then off to see the creation of balsamic vinegar. When aged for 6-12 years, it changes completely. We had no... More

WE liked being picked up/dropped off. The cost was high, especially when one can see Parmesan Cheese and Balsamic Vinegar being made on ones own at no cost. Lunch arranged by Alessandro was excellent More
