It was great to watch Mauro at work. He made us feel very welcome and made a crab whilst we watched. He happily answered any questions we had and we didn't feel pressured to buy anything at the end. It was a great learning experience.

We highly recommend visiting this place if you are in Venice. Mauro is a real first-class artist, and -not secondarily- a gentleman too. No other words are needed, you have to visit him in his lab, it will be one of the best hours spent during your Venice tour.
