Very different paintings and quite simple in comoarison with most here. Worth a visit before crossing back over the river.
Please, stop and visit this church: look on the altarpiece and you will see a wonderful fresco, a model till the contemporary time. A "Deposition from the cross" from Pontormo. Stumbled across this beautiful church. It's very non-descript from the outside. But inside, as we arrived at 17:00, there was the rosary been said. This gave what is a beautiful church inside already , an extra appeal.. Worth walking in if your walking past.
