We did 4 Artviva tours while in Florence. The Evening Walk one night, followed by the 3 tours that make up the Florence in One day Package. Our tour guides were Helen and Charles. They were outstanding. They demonstrated a passion for the history and the art. They offered good insight to the surrounding neighborhoods and kept the interest of... More

We have been on two Art Viva tours. I wanted to make special mention of our Cinque Terre tour. Our tour was held up for two hours on the motorway due to a truck accident on the motorway, our guide Nadia, re-planned the tour on the fly so that we were able to enjoy the full tour. It was very... My wife and I did the Bike Tour of Florence and the Country side with Alessandro from Art Viva. We had a group of 8 on this tour including Alessandro (3 from US, 2 from Australia, and 2 of us from Canada). Generally we like to explore places on our own, however there way many advantages to taking this tour:... More

This turned out to be a personal guided tour for two of us led by Romina, who made this the highlight of our visit to Florence. We thought we knew the city well but she introduced us to new cafes, bars, food stalls and some of the best Italian food and drink. Throughout she treated us as valued friends and... More

We did the Florence Walking Tour, the Uffizzi and the David tour all in one day, and although we were exhausted at the end all three guids were extremely engaging and informative. If you are looking to get the most out of a day, I highly recomend touring with Artviva.

We only booked one guided tour whilst in Florence and that was to see the Statue of David. Helen was our guide and it was clear from her extensive knowledge that she has a passion and a great appreciation of art. It made sense after she took the time to introduce herself and explain her education and artistic skills. I... More

Helen was our guide, She was smooth, relaxed, knowledgable and great to be with touring this wonderful museum. The selected masterpieces were not disappointing and the exclusive entry into the Vasari corridor was a surprise treasure. Thank you so much. Allan and Gail, from Montreal Canada

This is by far the best thing we signed up to do in Florence! We did the evening tour and had a lovely little group led by the brilliant Helen....she really knew her stuff and was very entertaining as she unveiled some of Florence's more 'underground' historical happenings! The tour took about 2 hours (but it felt much shorter as... More

We booked firstly the Masters of Uffizi and glad we did as we would have walked round looking at things and not known the real impact and history of the main exhibits. The guide Brenda was fun and very good at explaining what we as tourists wanted to understand. Jumping the queue helped as well :) On the last day... More

We took the morning walking tour in Florence. Our guide, Elizabeth, was outstanding. She was very knowledgeable as well as entertaining. We enjoyed learning some of the finer details of life in Florence during the Medici rule. We recommend this as something you do at the beginning of your stay in Florence.
