Going into the Santa Maria Della rosa was life changing. I am not sure if it was just the name that called me but it was very moving. I purchased a small Maria. That I keep with me every day. A must stop on you walk up to the church. A great day trip. I am glad I stopped.

I was feeling very fragile on this trip to Asissi, I wondered into the church by chance and the minute I entered I felt like an electrical current had gone through my body. At the Santa Maria delle Rose Church in the Via S. Maria delle Rose tucked away off the pilgrim and tourist trail in Assisi yet just 2 minutes walk from the famous Cathedral Square of San Rufino nests a most amazing and moving religious exhibition of Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ.
