The view from the tower was worth the visit, however the cathedral itself is rather drab and uninteresting.

Got to love this cathedral even if you are not a church lover. And then the view from the towers is just amazing...in one side the roof tops and on the other side the view over the lake.

As cathedrals go this isn't the most spectacular that you will see. It isn't as big as many of Europe's leading cathedrals and it is quite simple in its design and architecture. The Chapel of the Maccabees is within the cathedral, just inside the front door to the cathedral and easily missed. The Chapel was the highlight of my visit.... More

I liked this catedhral because of the modest and peaceful atmosphere (so far from the roman-catholic pride and wealth). In fact - sitting in this splendid place gives you a moment of thinking over the priorities in the life. Nice, because so modest and friendly.

If you enjoy seeing basilicas all around Europe then why not visit this as well. And while you are there, go down below and see the history of the ruins found underneath the church many years after...it is so interesting. Lovely walk up the hill to the Cathedral or there is a small mini (local) bus heading that way too..

Nice place to see, Calvin came here before (you can see the chair he used to sit on). Don't miss to climb up the towers (some 300 steps, I think) for a great view over Geneva.

As someone who treasures art and architecture, I feel great pain when I see ideologues of whatever kind destroy timeless art. In our era, there are still plenty of examples, as was done to Bamyan in Afghanistan. What the Calvinists did to the art of St. Pierre was truly tragic. What is left is a wonderful structure stripped of its... More

Nothing much to visit inside but going on the top of the tower on a sunny clear day is a most with an amazing view. Quite few steps to reach the top but the view is really amazing.

A beautiful Cathedral with a gorgeous Lady Chapel hidden away ! Well worth the visit. Is a lot bigger than you think with beautiful carvings and stain glass windows.

When you discover the view from the top, you can only say "wahouw". Go with someone local. He / she will explain you what is what. You will even enjoy more this moment.
