The immense sculptured heads of these preachers rival those of Mount Rushmore and occupy, perhaps, a similar role in the history of Geneva. Repelling Catholic armies from places nearby in that century in the name of Calvinism... More

The founding fathers of the Reformation are celebrated along the length of this imposing wall in twice life siize figures. Luther, Calvin and Knox I expected to see. But Cromwell is also there plus others I was not familiar with. The words of the Lords Prayer and a declaration of the Pilgrim Fathers atre incised into the wall in English,... More

The Reformation Wall is in the corner Parc des Bastions which in its own right is beautiful to see. If you have any interest in religious history, or the Reformation itself, take the time to observe the monument to those that made it real for all of us.

Big imposing statues in the middle of a lovely park. Part of the Swiss history...and after that take a pic of all the check and mate lovers.

I found this a really intriguing monument, in a lovely setting. It's informative, multi-lingual, and huge without dominating. Definitely worth a look.
