Take the Palace hotel elevators or the great lift down and then a leisurely walk in a half circle around the lake. Most uplifting.

Everything very nice. Water its clear. And many atractions there in summer and in winter time. (in summer Fishing, Sailing, Swiming and more) in winter skiing, horse racing, walking, fishing and more. Pictures with good camerra are fantastic from there.

Walking around the lake in winter (January) was peaceful with nice views of the mountains and town. It was easily accessible from the train station. After looking at online pictures of the lake, I think it's more beautiful in the summer.

Lej da Staz is on the way (walking) from St. Moritz to Pontresina or Celerina. It is simply a lovely and quiet place. Weather permitting, there is swimming possible.

We took a horse carriage ride near this lake and the views of the meadows, trees, mountains and lake were amazing. There is a restaurant there called Restorant Lej da Staz that has the best home-made vanilla ice cream I have ever had anywhere.

We went on a little hike from St Moritz to Lake of Staz to the restaurant. If wou take it easy, it is a 20-30 min easy walk. The mountain view and the lakes you walk by are beautiful.
