This is one of the main churches in Zurich. It is also one of the oldest and with the largest clock face. I agree that the exterior is the most interesting part of the church. The interior is very peaceful but not particularly interesting. They do, however, perioridcally offer classical music concerts. Overall, I think it's worth taking a look... More

My husband and I want to mass at this church. It was a wonderful experience. A very spirit filled time and an excellent way to be thankful for all the beautiful sites and experience of the city.

St. Peter has the largest church clock face in Europe, 8.7m (28.5 ft) diameter! That's pretty much the highlight when visiting, as this is a Protestant church, so it's not particularly ornate. But, my friend did recently discover a modern, glass elevator right outside--which looked totally out of place in the old town--but was absolutely cool for performing sudden disappearing... More

If you are passing by it is worth a peek inside, but overall, not anything I would recommend going out of my way to see. We were there in October of 2011

More interesting from the outside, with it's enourmous clock and maze of surrounding streets than inside, where it is rather plain.

A gorgeous building, with a huge clock.Very picturesque. However, it was closed for a wedding and then later in the day, there was a large protest outside. Alas, another Zürich landmark we couldn't visit internally.

and yes its a fantastic church that sits atop a hill with a fantastic view. Bring a picnic sit outside and enjoy the old historic Zurich. This is one of my favorite spots in Zurich to take it in, very peacful and quiet

We couldn't go inside the church as it was closed to the public but the exterio was beautiful and so is the neighborhood.
