I have been to various botanical gardens and this was the least impressive, there wasn't anything really bad with it, just there wasn't a lot there, and for all the beauty of Zürich this isn't a place I will bring friends and family when they visit

Beautiful variety of plants, small pond, quite neighbourhood and newly commissioned tropical house complex. Very accessible from the city center but may not be access friendly to disabled people due to landscape. Free entrance and restaurant available (did not get to use it). Will visit again!

Enjoyed wondering around the gardens, which have a sense of rural nature, lovely sweeping meadows and lots of exotic color spots, delightful.

This Botanical Garden is not that big as a usual Botanical Garden. If you have some spare time and you like to be on your own or with your children it's a really try. Quite a couple of bench where you can sit, or lay and read a book or just look the children running around and exploring the different... More

I'm a big plant and garden lover and always visit botanic gardens wherever I go, but this one didn't appeal to me. It's not very big (for a botanic garden) and there's not much to see in Winter (March), contrary to what they claim. Moreover, the glasshouses (domes) are closed for renovation until June 2013. Still, a nice place for... More

Nice outdoor gardens & indoor gardens. Huge space for little kids to run around. If the weather nice, it is a lovely place for a picnic. Picnic tables are available in the outside gardens.

once a month except in winter, they offer themed evening tours with the possibility of a seasonal meal at the university restaurant, that they open especially for this occasion on evenings. We were on a tour themed edible plants. Very interesting, and the food was great.

i visited the old botanical garden behind the stockmarket. As this was close to my office I used it to escape the rush and stress of work and to stretch out in the sun. It is a lovely park with lots of benches to relax on, birds to watch and simply to soak up the atmosphere.

a sweet little garden with lots of botanical "treats"...you can walk the shoreline of the lake, enjoying sculptures, parks, and the Corbusier house/museum.
