If you walk through the Kalverstraat to the Mint Square, then go to the Reguliersbreestraat and halfway you will stumble upon this wonderful cinema.Ouside it looks historical, a bit in the vein of Gaudi his style. Last night we visited this incredible movie palace.Its very rare to see two balconys plus stalls at a cinema. The lighting inside the main cinema is incredible.Take a camera.You wont regret it.The sound and picture quality was excellent..We saw Oblivion.

Is a must visit theater. Has a great history and reconstruction. Cozy, grand and classic. Suitable for family, friend visit for movies.

We bumped into the theater and it was amazing. The building is very special and has unique style. The figures on both sides are actually animals! Make sure to take some photos.

If you are in Amsterdam and fancy seeing a movie, try to go here, especially if you appreciate art deco. The exterior facade and glorious main entry hall are worth a visit themselves even if you don't see a movie. Very centrally located next to Rembrandt square.

the big cinema is really inpressing (Zaal 1) and reminds you of an old Broadway theater. If you are caught in a rainy day and in the area, a nice place to watch a movie (most are displayed in english). Definitely not a must tourist attraction

A great way to see a movie and hang out with the ladies! Love the concept of bubby and a show. Wish there were more English movies on the horizon though!
