It was a nice building, facing a very lovely park and you should definitely go to see it. It is probably about a 5 minute walk from the Museum of Fine arts, so worth a little detour. I love castles and palaces and this one is very big, however you can't go inside just like our own here in England... More

During the summer holidays, you can visit the Royal Palace, only a short walk from the Grand Place, and it's free! You will be visiting countless rooms, some are huge, most of them containing temporary artwork collections. An awesome room is the one decorated with millions of Thai beetle wing cases... just an amazing effect... Only a pity the King... More

great place, beautiful to walk and see the architecture of the amazing building. If you in luck and get a climpse of functions within it will make visit even greater.

The palace is very grand and worth the walk, or metro. The park opposite is worth the visit as well as the art museum and a really beautiful church just down the road.

The Royal palace is a little away from the hearth of Brussels, but it really worth the visit. And after the visit just in front of the Palace there is a big park where you can relax yourself.

This very nice building, worth a visit is still used for official events with the King. However foreign people perhaps think that the KIng (Royalty) is living here. This is not the case. The Royalty is living at the Palace in the suburbs of Brussels at Laeken (close to the Atomium)

Part of understanding Belgium is to understand the royal history. There is no better place than the Royal Palace to get this flavour.

It is the official palace of the King of the Belgians but is not used as a royal residence, as the king and his family live in the Royal Castle of Laeken on the outskirts of Brussels. The website of the Belgian Monarchy describes the function of the palace as follows: “The Palace is where His Majesty the King exercises... More

Beautiful palace, but most stunning is the room where the ceiling is filled with beetle shells, a work of art by artist Jan Fabre, commisioned by the Queen herself.

Definitely worth a visit. Huge rooms painted cream and gold, with sparkling chandeliers. It was a surprise to find a very good hands-on science room at the end of the tour through, some novel demonstrations I hadn't seen before. When we were there there was also a 'faces' exhibition with paintings and artifacts from around the world. Lots to see... More
