The centre of Bruges is very beautiful, there are so many good restaurants we were spoiled for choice. We took a canal trip which was informative and interesting. All in all a lovely place for a relaxing city break. More

Nothing to discover about this gem here but somehow loses (as Venice) part of its character as it gets so busy. Try to walk around a little bit further from the crowd and you may think you are in a different city. Late evening walks (or very early) are great. More

There is nothing toi dislike except perhaps the enormous number of tour groups. Everything else is to like. This must be one of the great cities of the world - maybe not quite uo to Venice but as good as any other historic city I can think of. More

You go to Bruges to see its exceptionally well preserved medival center, with its marvelous Belfry, the Church of Holy Blood and other great sites. It is all there, as well as numerous chocolate shops, restaurants, etc. A great tourist area. More

We took the train from Brussels to Brugge, then walked a short way into the center of this quint town. It is very old, quint, cobblestone streets and a tourist destination, Shop, restaurants, carriage and canal boat rides, and very friendly people. I loved the city centre of Brugge with it's gothic architecture and the canal encircling the centre. Lovely streets to walk around and lots of lace and tapestry shops selling beautiful gifts. More

The care they've taken of the city is amazing. We could learn a lot about city planning from the Belgians. More
