Day of night a walk along the marina is a must with its small selection of bars and restaurants. Here To is where you go to see the dolphins or go visit the grottos or just sit in a cafe and look out at the yachts and listen to the rigging clinking in the breeze.

I was there to get my powerboat licence and found it friendly and relaxed. The Oasis cafe is great value and serves excellent food and drinks. Probably too small to stay all day but a nice place to visit and possibly have lunch etc. We were there early in the season so it may be buzzier in summer?

I spent almost a full day at the Marina having a good walk as it was stunning, lots of lovely yachts to see and some lovely cafes along the front. I went to a café called "Oasis" - I had one of the best Jacket potato with chili beef. I noticed people eating toasties which looked lovely, along with some... More

The Marina is well kept, modern and has shops, cafes and residential as well as holiday accommodation. It is interesting to see the varied collection of yachts and this is where you can find a trip to see the caves or dolphins. The Railway station is situated on the far side. Just walk over the bridge and straight on!

Stayed at Tivoli (view of Marina from room) so ended up spending a lot of time at The Marina. Great views, nice cafes, ice creams, English newspapers. Definetly do the boat trips to the caves, and to see the dolphins - they come right up to the boats - amazing to see them swimming free.

We had a pleasant visit to Lagos marina. It was a friendly, pleasant place to sail from, with a lot of facilities, information, restaurants etc. Security to the boats was well maintained. There were boats flying many different national flags. I was travelling with a Russian national who commented that the many fish you saw in the Marina, would not... More

We walked down from the castle to the marina alongside the sea. It was lovely watching the boats go bye and checking out the harbour fish. We had some lunch in 'Oasis' which was extremely good value and then some ice cream before our walk back to the town centre. If your staying in albufeira, it's 100x better than that... More
