This is one of the best-designed aquariums I've ever seen, with huge glass-walled tanks that you can walk around and get all sorts of different views of the sea-life. Some of the viewing areas curve inwards so it seems as if you're almost inside with the fish. They have an amazing collection, including sunfish, all kinds of rays and sharks,...

It was a must see. We went there as a couple, and it was very nice. Everyone can go to this aquarium. It was a lot to see. The main aquarium was huge, and it was also a lot of small ones. Cons: I missed more signs. We did not understand when the tour was over, and we had to...

My boyfriend and I visited the Oceanarium on our last day in Lisbon and boy am I glad we did. This is easily the best aquarium I have ever visited. The central tank is epic, with such a variety of fish, including fish I had never seen before (and I have been to a good few aquariums). The sea otters...

Well worth the trip over! Got to see some great things! The temporary exhibit had the sea turtles and they were well worth the extra €3 to see them!
we liked this aquarium a lot, but as we have seen valencia aqaurim two years ago we expected more as they say this one is the biggest in europe. but after all good value for money (fee is 13 euros)
Save at least 2 hours. Move yourself to a different world. Touch a shark, watch a penguin. Have a nice geography and biology lesson. Take your girlfriend and children. A must to see in Lisbon!
This is much more than your average aquarium, it's more of an experience. All of Lisbon is art and the oceanarium is no exception, from the mosaic sidewalk outside to the whale constructed of cans in the entrance. Subway stop right by. Make a day of it- visit the oceanarium, ride the telecabine, walk back on the pier and by...

Great acquarium and one of the biggest ones I have seen! The best part were the temporary exposition about turtles and the otters. Loved the fact that you are able to see the wildlife above and under the water. A wholly different experience!
This aquarium is located in the newer part of town near the shopping mall. Lovely structure separated into two buildings; one for temporary exhibits (when I visited, they had a huge tank filled with sea turtles) and one for the permanent exhibits which include sharks, rays, penguins and more.
Obviously there were quite a number of children running around, but...
