One of the most famous sites on earth. No point coming to Athens if your not going to see it. Go early morning to avoid the crowds.

What can I say? This is a must see in Athens. Just be careful when walking about. The exposed marble can be quite slippery!

There is not too much to say, for me Athens is no more than a city, but Acropolis and all the historical and archeological sites are remarkable and worth the travel
