This is within walking distance from Plaka, its near the national gardens which is also worth a visit. My daughter loved running around inside (she's 2 1/2) there is a small museum with some of the past torches and posters from past Olympics. You really feel like you're entering history in this stadium. I highly recommend it. Also I forget... More

Very beautiful stadium, I tried to go to the top of 107 tiers but only half way. You can see the Parthenon from that location as well. It's an easy walk from The site of the Temple of Zeus. There is also a small museum at the very end inside the stadium.

Most of the tour buses just seem to let people off long enough to take a photo rom the outside but you can't appreciate how amazing this stadium is unless you go in it. The entrace fee is tiny and they hand out free audio guides. You can go anywhere in the stadium so feel free to run the 100m... More

The oral tour was so interesting. The cost to see the stadium with the oral tour is only 3 euros and the oral tour really brought the history of the stadium to life. Well worth the visit.

Gorgeous stadium to take some great pictures whilst in the stands or running the 100m. Side tunnel that leads to an area displaying all the Olympic torches.

I had visited previously & we just looked through the fence. On my husband and my revisit we paid the sml fee and did the audio guide tour. It was fascinating to walk and climb to the top of this rebuilt Olympic stadium, to hear its history and how it is still used today. If you're fit, jog the course... More

Very special experience. You can stand in front and look into the stadium, but we highly recommend to go in and get the audio-guided tour. This really is a very special place with a lot of historic and architectural specialties that are worth spending some time...

This is THEE most overlooked site in Athens. For 3 euros, you get a chance to walk a spectacularly restored and important site with maybe 4 other visitors- total. And the views from the top row of the Acropolis are, well, incredible and will get your juices flowing for the full tour. It is also open til 7 pm, so... More

The cost for the stadium is only 3E and its 1.5E if you have a student ID card. I wasn't initially going to pay to go in, and I am so glad that I decided to. They provide you with a free audio tour device with your ticket, and it was extremely interesting. I won't spoil the surprise for you,... More

Really interesting insight into the history of the stadium and the modern olympics. The audio tour is free and thoroughly engrossing.
