A small museum in Vori, 2 kms from the archeological site of Phaistos. It presents the daily life of Crete organized by theme: agriculture, fishing, weaving, etc., in a lovely old house. It takes about 45 minutes to go through the museum. The museum has received awards for the quality of its exhibitions.

It may be situated in a small village next to Festos:Vori, howewer its exhibition can be described as high standard. this is the reason i suppose why it has earned a European Award.
