The design, the shape and structure, it's outstanding and unique. A class on its own, truly. When we were there, the church looks like it was just repainted, in dazzling white-wash, of course. Beautiful against the torquoise-blue sky!

This is a wonderful architectural structure with a breathtaking view, especially when the sun is shining, which it was the day we visited Mykonos. It is a picture paradise, the queues are as long to get a photo spot than for any other attraction on the island! I wish I could have taken a tour inside, but viewing it from... More

This lovely Church is actually 5 churches put together, the smallest domed one being on top. We visited it on a beautiful Nov day when the sun was shining & Mykonos was at its best. Although the island was busy with our cruise ship being in, we were lucky enough to have walked around this church on our own. The... More

like all the churches in Mykonos, painted white, but this one was different. it's a big church standing in the middle of the town. next to many restaurants, so u can have a walk in the town to get some souvenirs from the shops and visit it. it's soooooo beautiful on Sunday morning to see all the people praying !

A very picturesque and atmospheric place... whether during the daylight or most romantically, with stars, the moon and the waves below...

Paraportiani Church is an icon in Mykonos. I bet every visitor has a picture in front of this romantic church. Its impressive white architecture in the aegean style is a tourist must. But, in seven trips to Mykonos, I have never seen its doors opened. Quite a mistery! Petrus, the famous pelican and another Mykonos icon, may be seen around... More

We chanced upon this church while exploring the town. It was stunning - a white beautiful structure set against the ocean and under the bright blue skies. A photographer's delight - but then so is most of Mykonos.

I didn't even notice this church until my 3rd day in town, when I happened to walk by and saw a bunch of people taking pictures out front. I'm glad I found it, because it is just beautiful! A must see in Chora.
