My son and I spent a very happy afternoon here, we looked around the museum he played on the computer game, we went to the church and had tea in the cafe which was really lovely and did great cakes. The people overseeing the museum were so charming and welcoming. More

We walked from Uppsala centre to Gamla Uppsala and took the bus on our way back. Walking there took us approximately 90 minutes. The bus was much faster and costed us 30 kronen. We walked there aside of the road which is not really beautiful. I think there is a bicycle/pedestrian path along the countryside. More
