Although modest in size, this museum is loaded with fascinating objects. Both Linnaeus and Celsius did their important work at Uppsala University, and you will find some of their papers here. There is also a small viking exhibit that focuses on excavations near the city.

Not a big museum which has the advantage of being asily digestible. Of particular note is the demonstration operating theatre; the viking exhibition is also informa\tive and there is a good section on Egyptology. The history of the University is well described as are the profiles of the numerous Nobel prize winners that haiol from here.

This museum is definitely worth a visit if you're in Uppsala. Run by the university, the reasonable entrance fee gains you access to their fascinating and at times gruesome collections. English labels throughout make for an easy an enjoyable visit. Near the top of the museum is the replica medical dissection theatre and some displays of medical specimens that were... More

There were two things that we were interested to see in this museum and they didn't fail us. The Augsburg cabinet is an unique artefact that holds litelary hundreds of things all weirder than the rest. I think it's a must see. Also the anatomical theatre in the top floor is a cool place to visit for anyone with a... More

This museum is a must in Uppsala. The famous anatomic theatre is maybe the top attraction of this museum, which has collections of different historic objects. You get a good view of Swedish history and scientifc history when visiting this museum.
