It takes about 15 minutes on foot from the Helsinki station.After climing the considable steps you could arrive the Helsinki Cathedral. The inside and outside of Casedral are very simple like Protestantism except pipe organ . But the Casedral exsists as a beautiful simbol of Helsinki.

The cathedral is on a hill and can be seen from afar. It overlooks a vast square with cobblestones, and looks beautiful whatever the lighting. But the inside is surprisingly bare and banal, alas.
Interesting building, spartan interior compared to other cathedrals and easy accessible. The exterior a real icon and landmark for Helsinki. The location easy and close to all other great tourist attractions. The building makes great photos - locally at the square and even from arriving ferries.

I was very lucky duting that day. The organ was being played. The music was so nice and i felt so peaceful. Must visit this cathedral and spend a little time enjoy the marvelous structure.
It's a shame I couldn't get in, but there was something against my willing to see as much as possible as fast as possible!!!! In a sunny day you would have the chance to have a city overview!
