Did 2 dives in the crystal clear water of the Silfra ravine and it was an amazing experience. The guides were professional and nice people. Even though the water was cold, the suits we were equipped with were warm and comfortable. Being the first ones in the water that morning, we got the best possible experience and still had time... The experience of diving between the tectonic plates of Europe and America is extraordinary! Water temperature is 1°C (33°F) just over freezing point, and the visibility of the water were up to incredibles 100m (300ft), like we were floating in the air! Add to this the infrastructure, good equipments and great patience of the team, mainly of our dive master... More

Yes, it was beautiful, and yes, the guides were great, but what really made this worthwhile was the uniqueness of the whole experience. If you are looking for a different kind of way to experience the beautiful scenery Iceland has to offer, then you should sign up.

snorkeling between the continents, this trip is a unique experience. we booked with scuba is, honestly because we had a 10% discount voucher. without that voucher scuba would have been the most expensive operator of the trip. we have been picked up at the hotel, dressed there and drove to pingvellir. the snorkeling itself is short but mindblowing. service: excellent... The Silfra rift is a must see, photos don't do it justice. There's no marine life and the water is freezing but the landscape is spectacular and the colours and visibility is amazing. Do not leave Iceland without paying it an underwater visit. I went snorkeling one day and diving on another with Scuba Iceland. If I ever return to... More

I haven't dived in 3-4 years and didn't particular intend to dive in Iceland until reading about it on TA. Having been relatively rusty and unsure of the dry suit diving, I was reassured by Finni via email who was very helpful with his responses. On the day I was picked up by Nena and we spent the day chatting... More

Snorkeling in the Silfa fissure was so beautiful! The guides were very knowledgeable and fun. The gear was excellent and the hot chocolate and cookies after were a nice touch. They managed to find basically the coolest people in Iceland and have them work for them.

What can I say, this was one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences if you are a scuba diver, diving in the gin-clear waters of the Silfra rift. Scuba Iceland is a top-notch dive operation, and Finni the owner/dive master made sure everything was perfect. He responded promptly and with great humor to my many email inquiries before my trip. My guides,... More
