Loved the dry sense of humour shown by Villi's voiceover of his films. These are not HD quality and my 8year old daughter fell asleep so we were not able to stay for the second film which was a shame. The films are interesting records of one man's travels to volcanoes across Iceland and you can watch him age as... More

The vigour & passion of Villi , the owner is something which is difficult to forget. However I wish the videos could have been arranged a bit more chronologically and with more graphic representations of what is happening in Iceland . Would not be very interesting for regular people like us who wanted to start from basics of volcanos Location... More

Other reviews here sum up nicely what you can expect... More

A trip to this quirky attraction is a must for anyone with an interest in the Volcano eruptions in Iceland. I only had a vague notion of the various eruptions; this film takes you through their history from the amusingly dry witted perspective of the cinema owner, who has spent many years monitoring Volcanic eruptions and is there in person... My girlfriend and I (in our 30s) saw the volcano show in Sept 2011. Villi Knudsen, the cinematographer / owner, is one of the most fascinating people we've ever met. We had the good fortune of being the only people there on that rainy afternoon, and we talked with Villi for the better part of an hour. An older gentleman... More
