Lady's mile is simply amazing, it can be very crowded at times, specially at the weekends but as i was on holiday, the weekday was perfect for me to enjoy this lovely beach.
Access roads are poor, no tarmac, just sand & holes, a liability if in a hire car!! Beach is great once you get there, plenty of space but (avoid Sundays). Not a pretty place with the docks & commercial port adjacent , but in terms of sand quality probably one of the best in area. There are cafes / tavernas... More
Excellent for families with young children. In front of the last restaurant, the water is very shallow for a long distance and very nice especially for the young ones. Previous restaurants have bouncing castles in the summer to play. Need a car to get there, not easy by bus, long way to walk later to get to the nice area.... More
A paradise for young children as the waters are quite shallow and calm - for that reason best avoided by those whose idea of beach fun is not linked to children throwing sand and stones at you and endless toys and mothers scattered all over. For high waves (depending on the weather/moon phase etc) go to Kourion /Curium beach further... More
Lady Mile beach is quite a drive out of the city, but is worth the drive. You get to spend a day on an almost private beach: no one in sight sometimes. Bring your food for the day and you are set for a special experience.
This beach is less crowded than some of the other beaches around Limassol and is mainly used by the locals and their families. You can park right on the beach and it is safe. There is no lifeguards and at the time I was there they were doing some construction work at the far end - so not as peaceful... More
Captains Cabin, a long way along the beach road, is well worth a visit. This simple beach bar and restaurant run by Filios Demetriades and his lovely staff Irine and Manik, serves good local food and drink on one of the best beaches in Cyprus.
stunning beach with beautiful warm sea. Great places to eat, and if you had kids - it would be awesome, as there lots of inflatables in the sea etc.... Bit of a bumpy road to get there, and off the beaten track, but pretty cool once there!
Came here as a birdwatcher on Monday 21st Oct. 28 degrees, nothing open, just miles of beach with scrub and pools behind for birdwatchers. Excellent for me, very popular with locals at weekends.
The beach is well worth the travel from Argarka, its was lovely & peacefully as a car is needed to get to this & coaches thankfully don't stop. The sea is clear & you can walk out into the sea for ages before it even gets to your waist. You need your own umbrella's, towels at most areas of the... More
