Up at the top of Untersberg you feel you just can't take enough photographs of snowcapped mountaintops. It's breathtaking! And the Alpendohlen (black birds with very yellow beaks) will mesmerise you with their wind-gliding. take bus 25 to the last stop, to the cable car at Untersberg. you can do it all as part of the Salzburg card. The trip up the mountain is great and the views even on a cloudy day are spectacular.

We went there on a cloudy foggy day. Not expecting much. However, when we were on the top. The view is absolutely gorgeous! We walk along the mountain walkway for a bit. Highly recommend for those who purchase the Salzburg card from the train station!
