Great zoo with lots of animals to see. We loved Giant Panda eating bamboo stem and Peruvian penguins catching fish during feeding time.
We had an amazing time here! I was dreading going here in December and I can honestly say the zoo is maped out really well so there are lots of places to go inside and re warm yourself. I personally loved the penguins and the giraffes! My husband loved the lions even tho they did not want to come out... More
A very big zoo where the animals have alot of space. You can eat good food in the restaurant in the middel of the zoo.
Great zoo, with lots to see and very well laid out. I was lucky enough to see the Giant Pandas and the Koala's. The enclosures are modern and it seemed that the animals had lots of space and did not suffer form captivity stress or boredom. There are planty of places to eat and rest for a moment with benches... We were lucky as it was a lovely sunny day to walk around. We saw a great selection of animals including koalas and both pandas. The baby panda, which was born in August, is still being cared for behind the scenes. We spent several hours here and it could have been longer if we had got there sooner. Check out... More

Lovely period architecture ( it was the private zoo of the royal family) but also modern and spacious and very current take on enclosures for the animals. The zoo is quite large and you can spend a wonderful day here. The nice thing about it is that there are quite a large number of animals and entertaining shows. I recommend watching the lions feeding! Unlike many zoos, there is also a lot of nature to experience. At times you even feel like you're out in the wild,... More

Unfortunately those indoor live in small dirty places, usually behind dirty glass walls. Often it was difficult to see... More
This is a large and spacious zoo, very well-stocked, which gives the animals dignity and a measure of privacy while at the same time offering plenty of opportunities for visitors to see a wide range of species in attractive surroundings. There are good cafes here and there and particularly good playparks for chidlren - so when you want a rest,... More
