Beautiful palace, lovely grounds, with a small cafe and art exhibitions inside (Miro when we were there). Take a blanket and a picnic, and fall asleep under the sun in the gardens. Lovely. More

Not as crowded, when we were there, as many Vienna attractions and definitely worth seeing. Klimt's "The Kiss" is its most famous piece on display but there are several other noteworthy pieces from a mutitude of artists, including Monet. The upper Belvedere is a spectacular building and the grounds are splendid as well. (We did not tour the lower.) More

Well worth avisit on the outskirts of Vienna city center. The Kiss by Gustav Klint is housed here and it is well worth the small effort to go nd see it for yourself. Lots of other wonderful paintings are housed here as well More

Our group of four spent several hours meandering inside the Belvedere and the gardens. Of course The Kiss is a sight to see but my favorite had to be the large paiting of Napoleon Crossing the Alps. There was also one of a dog with his head on a table longing for a piece of the food on a plate.... More
