We took a group of 2 year olds for an Easter bunny hunt through the forest and then on to the play area. It took 45 minutes to do the circular walk which was just right. They loved the play area and it was a lovely morning out.

You must excuse the contrived nature of the title but certainly Drum Castle must rate as one of the most interesting of NTS properties. Like many castles it has been aded to over the centuries from its inception as a fortified keep in the time of Robert the Bruce who granted the title to the first baron. It is also... More

Great location, lovely gifts etc but restaurant prices need reviewed. Poor choice, food okay but more expensive than some restaurants. Wont eat there again.

A I live fairly locally I've been to Drum a few times - I would say it's my favourite castle along Deeside. The main part of the castle is well preserved as a stately home, and has a fantastic library. The keep is far older and you can climb the wooden staircase to the top for fantastic views. There is... Great place to take your guest and visitors. The coffee and cake was delicious and they have a fantastic selection of Christmas goods.

We visited on a crisp October day and were delighted we were able to walk around the beautiful gardens here. The castle was amazing such history behind it at times you could have sat there all day just to take it all in. As far as castles go this one is a must, how they have managed to retain the... More

The architecture of the Castle and the Gardens are lovely and the tales are very interesting. And it is a wonderful attraction to bring my foreign friends too.

My friends took my to this place. Although I come from Aberdeen I have lived away for 45 years and had never been before. We stayed in the restraunt for 3 hours just chatting and catching up. Its a lovely establishment and well worth a visit. It poured all the time for us but I should think, on a sunny... More

Drum castle was beautiful and the visit was made especially interesting as the guides provided a great deal of really fascinating information. Unfortunately we found the tea room very disappointing. Granted that we arrived a bit late for lunch, but there were only 2 items on the lunch menu - soup and baked potato. The soup was finished and so... More
